Fifty days that changed the World?

The death, resurrection and return of Jesus!

Easter is not a one off event, but rather a series of events that took place over a fifty day period, over five hundred people witnessed the resurrected Jesus, including Mary His earthly mother who was with His Disciples!

The Ascension occurred ten days before the Holy Spirit was poured out in the Jerusalem Temple on his Disciples and on the believers there after!

Jesus had to leave so that the Spirit of God could be poured out for us who have faith, but Jesus said He would return at the end of the age and He was not able to tell His Disciples when Israel would be restored as a nation?

Paying the price of faith in God?

Over the Christmas season many Africans have been killed by Islamic militant groups across the continent, since they are seen as easy targets by the religion of peace or rather the butchery of Jihadi anger!

But despite the persecution the faith in Jesus, just keeps growing and what was dark one hundred years ago is now light as the faith declines in Europe and other western nations, probably because it is too easy and we are not persecuted?

Very few believers now make a stance for Biblical truth, they just keep compromising and in the process the faith is dying for the lack of love and compassion to the language of claiming but not doing!

Sharing the stable with Jesus?

Many people will enjoy this season of tradition, presents, food and drink, but many more this year will not, they will effectively be in the stable, since there is no room for them in our society!

The message of Christmas and the virgin birth of Jesus is a lovely fixed story, but between the lines it like the who of the New Testament and the Holy Bible it meets every ones needs and conditions good and bad!

Jesus was given as gift to us by God and all who trust in Him alone will be saved, He is the perfect gift, will you accept Him this season?

With the New Year comes the promises of hope for better things, but almost from the start we know that the enemy will spoil it for us and so we should be aware that there is only one hope to get through the everyday of Life and that is having Jesus as our personal Savior?

The truth is from history far more worse than what Israel has too do in the Gaza strip and if so the much international condemnation would be ignored as it was during the thirty years of the troubles.

For the island of Ireland?

The British Queen was a women of inspiration to the world for the last eighty three 7ears, well before she ever became Queen! That devotion to her people, included many in the Republic of Ireland and other places was down to her profession of a faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, something that was not well reported in her annual Christmas message?

Her visit to Ireland was a profound one of apology for a different age of thinking, but she did it with grace and many hearts and minds were changed because of ability to adapt to meeting Sin Fein and the former head or representative of the Irish Republican war council Mr. Martyn McGuinness and Sin Fein party leader Gerry Adams!

After all is said and done, the republican movements today have a different attitude to her son and heir Charles-III, who is hated by many despite his recent visits to Ireland, thus we have a new situation?

Belfast has seen two nights of rioting and the new Police Service of N-Ireland (PSNI) have to take the brunt of armchair unionism through the exploited political classes over where the border is between the EU and the U.K.

Peace is a cheap word in N-Ireland that means really nothing to the Protestants, who will never really submit to the whims of the Roman Catholics and the bitterness of Colonial Imperialism here runs deeper than 1690?

When the Protestants march to keep their fantasy alive and when the men of the cloth prove they are worthless in the religious rhetoric and their hearts, motives and anger is revealed!

If these were real Christians they would be preaching the gospel to a lost society around them and welcoming Roman Catholics into the faith and doing the works of Jesus sowing peace and not division?

Long term hard Going?

This is perhaps why many believers fall away, after all the sparkle of being saved, when the hard times come they just give up?

Many don’t do very much after their claim to salvation, they sit and wait for Heaven and may even return back into the ways of the world or their old ways again?

For the rest of us it is hard and we will knocked about, better to loose a ligament in this life than go into hell with all in tact? There are many warnings and illustrations in the New Testament in relation to these matters that we are not automatically saved, but that we have the promise of that Salvation if we keep on track with Jesus!

There is no mention of the Philistines remaining in the Holy lands in relation to owning what belongs to the Jewish people and the restored Israel in connection with the ‘End Time events!

Ireland has taken the anti-God road and even when they had their focus as a young state, they too shared in the anti-Semitism of their own former occupiers!

If we claim to have faith in Jesus, we must heed to the word of God and see His plans in the Middle-East not take on ungodly ideas of human conceptions of what is right and wrong, because we will be drawn away from the truth and into other religions and concepts that are based on feelings and not faith!
