Crossroads. Two.

Living in the power of the Resurrection?

There are some people who believe or claim a faith in Jesus, but they fail to fathom the rising of Jesus the man from the grave?

This a serious flaw in the Christian faith, like that of denying that a loving God would send people to Hell! But without faith in the resurrection of Jesus, we cannot enter into the promised New Life!

All who witnessed Jesus rising from the dead where changed people, their faith was made full and they were empowered to press on believing, applying Jesus teaching and serving God!

Secular Humanism. Part-Two.

European and Western Concept?

What is on offer today is a denial of the power of God in personal faith, justification of sin is nothing new but it is now encompassed in a new fairer terminology! Christians of all descriptions are being made out to be mad, if they refuse to accept these new ideals?

But we are warned that the love of people will grow cold in the last days, coldness to the toleration of others beliefs over that of their own! We are not talking here about religious sectarianism, but rather a new form of a religion dressed up as secular!

If we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and know that He died for our sins and has set us free from the curse of legalism, we are born-again and free from anything that would block us from the love of God! Our conduct must be truthful and honest as we work out our salvation in these last days!

Matthew 24:12,  2 Corinthians 4:1-2,  Ephesians 5:2,  Jude 1:23.

Vision with God! One.

Forgetting the Past?

Believers in Jesus must let go of the past, memories, bad company, families, history? It is a challenge to be a Christian without labels, it is hard to love those who hate and oppose us?

Many nations claim religion and set their tribes out for all to see, while they claim they know Jesus? But they are self-opinionated and self-right, their view is the only view thus they have become narrow minded?

We are asked by the Lord to follow His ways and forget what has gone before, but me more a people of vision looking forward to His return and all things New!

Philippians 3:13,  Matthew 11:28-30,  Luke 9:62,  Psalm 27:4,  Revelation 21:2.

Workers Rights?

1st May.

Exploitation continues, despite the abolition of black slavery? The end of colonial slavery was replaced by the Industrial revolution and the need for mass cheap labour! Many children were forced down the mines and into the mill machine cleaning, people were forced to live in back to back housing and vile conditions!

The 19th Century say the rise of Socialist idealism and the workers Utopia of rights and farer conditions, sometimes coming at great coast? Capitalism was the driving forces of big business, apart from some Christian efforts to appease their workers, there was little care for the workers and their families?

Today many people are working for little or nothing and this is not right, if we claim to know Jesus then we should show, care, concern and love for the less fortunate?

Genesis 31:7-8,   Luke 10:34,   John 4:36,   Romans 3:23,   6:23.

Christmas Preperations.

It’s that time of the year Again.

The lights, the tree, the cards and the rush to go mad from black friday to Christmas eve buying gifts for self, family and friends? Many of us run around like headless chickens this time of the year, excited for the holidays, without any consideration for the birth of the person we are celebrating?

Many people today don’t want anything to do with religion or Christianity and yet they will be the first to demand tradition? This has to be this way and that, because thats what they once had?

God apointed a time in human history for His son Jesus to enter to bring salvation and atonement to both His people Israel and redemption to the world! He has done this because He loves and he wants to see all people brought into fellowship with Him.

There is loves of many kinds, but His is unconditional, this does not mean that we can continue on in our sins? Because loving us does not mean He loves our failures!

Matthew 9:13,  Luke 2:14,  John 3:16.

Refugees. Two.

1845 to 2016.

Millions left Ireland, as they have many other lands to flee faminine and other economic disasters, but at the same time many have come to Ireland to find the hospitality of the Irish and feel let down?

We will always have refuugees of one kind or another, some will be dishonest while others true? This is the same for all humans, because of inherited sin, when we start to thinkl we are better than the rest then we have really misunderstood what God’s love, mery and forgiviness is all about?

Leviticus 25:35-38,  Psalm 37:25-26,  Proverbs 12:10,  Matthew 5;7,  Mark 11:25-26,  Luke 11:4,  John 5:42.

International Terrorism.

Religious Mania.

The British will mark Guy Fawkes night tomorrow with fire works and bonfires, but how many people know who and what Guy Fawkes the centre of this tradition was all about?

Today everyone in Europe has to be politically correct and yet there remains the stigma towards, black people, travellers and the Jews?

The world faces a new religious fanatical deluded enemy lead by some very clever people, who one day perhaps might deck the halls of the United Nations at the cost of many innocent woman and children killed by their suicide soldiers in markets, schools and many other soft targets.

God will never allow evil to overcome good, that is why he sent His son Jesus to us so that we by trusting in Him could be forgiven. loved and set free from the blindness and wickedness of this dark world!

Lamentations 2:14,  Ezekiel 22:28,  Matthew 7:15,  Romans 12:21,  Philippians 3:18.
