Good Merit. Part-Three.

‘No back doors.’

God had no other way set in place for people to be saved, no one will get into heaven unless they place their faith and trust in Jesus death and resurrection from the grave. It remains a simple message that we either take or leave.

Many people believe that by their good works and deeds this will be enough, but you have to believe first. After then you will have plenty of time to apply the Gospel message.

John 10:1-18,  Matthew 22:8-12,  John 3:3,  1 Corinthians 15:3-4,   Revelation 21:27.

Good Merit. Part-Two.

The Heart is Deceitful.

That is the main problem that all of humanity suffers from, we tend to think we are good by nature and that it the outside that influences us. but God tells us through his word the bible, that it is our own thoughts and attitudes that lead us into Sin.  Jeremiah 17:9,  Romans 6:20-23.

Good Merit. Part-One.

I’m Alright.

Most people think that they are good, that they are better than most. I’s a good person, because I give to charity, go to Mass or Church, am fare with most people and try to do what is right most of the time.

Many care for their parents or others, believing that this will get them on good terms with God and they will go to heaven. But these are not the conditions that have been set down by God in relation to eternity. Yes it is good that we do good, but we must first confess that Jesus Christ, the Son of God is our own personal Saviour and that we live and move in His will, control and not our own wants and will’s. John 3:3-8,  1 Peter 1:17-19.

Solstice. Part-Two.

New Grange-Stonehenge.

Many people will gather at these sites for the annual summer solstice, to practice a new religion sometimes referred to a neo paganism. But this is not the religion of the Celts or the people before them that occupied these islands and Europe.  Job 12:7-12,  1 Kings 18:24-29.

What we claim to know is very little, many aspects of the art and markings found continue to baffle us. The bible is the only book that tells us that when humanity was left to its own devices, it chose to abandon the Creator God and become stupid.  Romans 1:18-23.  1 Corinthians 15.
