We Choose.

Every human ever born and to be born will have the inherited defect of sin. It is part of our fallen state that we cannot escape, without the Salvation of Jesus. We have a great God, because he has allowed humanity to choose between doing right and wrong.

At the moment there is a term going around connected to a British TV series called Born Killers. The bible says’ that people are born sinners.’   Psalm 58:5.

It is up to us to choose wither we will be bad or good.  Genesis 8:21,  Proverbs 3:7,  Matthew 6:13.

Blinkers. Part-Three.

EU and Europe.

There have been several out pourings across Europe in the last 120 years. These moves of Gods power in Revival have been reported in each land, but rarely outside.

Why do people not believe or care to know that God still saves people by these huge outpourings?  There are many factors and reasons some of them are based on racism and others, that people have been taken over by their emotions.

Today there is a general atmosphere of apathy towards people who have suffered persecution and those who claim a Christian experience of God in their lives. This failure leads to Spiritual death. This is why the ‘Church is full of accepting the ideals of the world, rather than the truths of the bible.   1 Thessalonians 5:5-8.   Ephesians 6:10-18.

Blinkers. Part-Two.

Revival in England, Wales and Scotland.

When? They say that there has been no revival in Wales since 1904, England 1927 and Scotland 1849.” But this is not true, there have been more than one major out pouring of the Holy Spirit in each of these lands, but the majority of ‘Christians have refused to either see it or believe it.

It is not a Sectarian problem in the UK, it is a doctrinal problem. Belief in Doctrines, rather than the scriptures. The main doctrine of contention is replacement theology, the denial that God still loves His people Israel and their dispensation is separate from the Church.

The other is the acceptance of antinomianism, or the allowance of sin. This is why Homosexuality is accepted by many Christians, because it is no longer seen as a Sin.

So where are these ‘Revivals? 1924-27 in South-Wales, 1970 to 1991 in England and 1990 to 2007 in Scotland.   2 Chronicles 7:14,  James 4:9-10.

Blinkers. Part-One.

A Limited Vision.

This post is not about horse racing, which I am sure will be a disappointment  to some? No this is about ‘Christian Revival in Ireland, which many ‘Christians do not believe has occurred since 1859.

This is because they have allowed themselves to become blinkered to the movement of God around them. There where Revivals in Ireland in 1928 and 1994, but very few established Christians saw this and reacted to it.

The reasons for this lack of belief, sadly is the bigotry that plagues Ireland as a nation and peoples. Sectarianism, seclusion and hatred has stopped the power of God. This does not mean that people are not getting saved, it is just not recognized as a move of the Holy Spirit.  Act 1:8, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Jude 19.
