The State of Europe. Part-Two.

Revivals.

You might say where are they? And you have every right to say that, but there is new ‘Revivals’ in Europe. Many ‘Christians in the UK are failing to see that God is moving within their own cities, with the planting of many New Churches, But there is also a Revival in Ireland, a subject that will follow this series.

There is ‘Revival in Eastern-Europe and Russia, in the Ukraine, Hungary, Romania and Italy. the problems for those who cannot see God moving is one of refusing or judging him to their standards rather than His. Be encouraged today, God has not forgotten Europe it is some us who  have forgotten His ways.  Acts 26:18,  1 Peter1:3.

The State of Europe. Part-One.

Christian Decline.

Over the last forty years Europe has been in Christian decline and this decline has come not from people not bothering to go to ‘Church, but more from the anti-religious mentality of the European Unions equality policy.

Values that have been handed down from family to family for generations in all religions, which are of a good moral standing and doing the right things are now deliberately side lined for a more open liberalism.

Where do we stand in all of this? We have really only what the bible teaches us, we know we will fail to keep God’s standards, but we will try. We know that we are not under the bondage’s of Laws. But at the same time we are not to abuse our freedoms.  Galatians 5:13-15,  1 Peter 2:15-17.

God is moving in Africa. Part-Three.

Black Wives.

When we talk start to talk about people in the bible we very quickly like to show our prejudice wrapped up or disguised in knowledge. We will say that God did not call children such as Samuel and Jeremiah to be Prophets. We also tend to disguise the facts that the Egyptian race was not black, but white.

God and the bible do not discriminate on races and colors. Both Joseph and Moses were married to black woman and King Solomon may have had a sexual relationship with the Queen of Sheba. Read the book of Solomon and you will quickly discover, she was a black woman. God is moving in Africa, because their cries for God’s mercy and help, after 400 years of slavery have been heard. Genesis 41:45-46.  Exodus 2:15-22,  Numbers 12:1.

God is moving in Africa. Part-Two.

Africa in the Bible.

The bible has much to say about Africa and its lands, peoples and kingdoms. From the beginning Africa existed and was a key player after the Noahic flood. Africa has been connected with the kings of Israel and despite its current problems Christianity is growing.

During the pouring out of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem 2000 years ago, Africa was mentioned. God blesses peoples for theirr faith in Him and their stance to keep His truths.

Genesis 2:13,  Psalm 72:10,  Ezekiel 30:5,  38:5,  Nahum 4:9,  Mark 15:21,  Act 2:10,  6:9.

God is moving in Africa. Part-One.

100 years on.

When we look back one hundred years ago to the continent of Africa, we do not see much of God’s power at work. Yes many thousands of people were converting to ‘Christianity, but there was no out pouring of the Holy Spirit as in recent times.

It was said by many great Evangelical preachers in the UK and the U.S.A. ‘that many missionaries sent out to Africa, were doing nothing to reach the lost. But instead they were lounging around.

Today millions of people in Africa are coming to a personal knowledge and relationship of Jesus. Nations such as Uganda refuse to accept homosexuality as normal, while other nations are being attacked by western sanctions and Muslim extremism.

But the ‘Ekklesia of Jesus grows on. Amen. Psalm 69:32-33,  119:88.
