Waiting on God?

‘Not to become Impatient!

Wither we are waiting in a que of anything or that of an answer to prayer, we must learn to be patient with our circumstances?

Those first Disciples of our Lord were told to wait in Jerusalem, for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit! But they did not know it would be only ten days, as we do 2000 years later!

But they did not sit about in this period but got on with the business of the early Ekklesia and then to their joy what was promised came and infilled them with gifting and empowerment to serve thousands across the Roman Empire and into many lands further a field!

Proverbs 8:34,   Mark 11:24,   Acts 1:4,  12-26,   Romans 12:12,   Ephesians 6:18,  1 Thessalonians 1:3,   James 5:7,   2 Peter 3:9,    Jude 1:21.

Fruit and Fire!

Only for Born-Again Believers?

When we are saved, knowing that God has forgiven our past sins, because we believed that Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the third day making that one and final atonement for sins, we will have received the Holy Spirit as both a guarantee and seal of our Salvation!

The Holy Spirit is that flame or fire of passion that burns within us, wanting to share the Good News message with the world around us, friends and family! He gives us a passion and compassion for others, while also the gifts become available for us to develop in Love!

But last of all we are given the free choices to go with God’s flow or to refuse to do so and so we must face the consequences of these choices at the End of the Age?

Songs of Solomon 8:7,   Joel 2:28-32,   Acts 2:3,   1 Corinthians chapters 12,  13,  14,  Galatians 5:22,   1 Thessalonians 5:19,   1 Peter 1:7.

Ascension. Part-One.

Time to leave.

Jesus had been on the earth for forty days after his resurrection from the dead and had been seen by over five hundred people and his disciples. But it was now time for him to return to the father. He had to go, because only by his going could the promised Holy Spirit be poured out on the new believers and the new dispensation of the Way.
