God so Loved…! Two.

Old Story, New Message?

Easter is an old story that the world fails to want to understand and yet it will be told again, today with new technology and many people around the world will be saved from their past failures and allowed to enter in to the New Life of a personal relationship with Jesus and our Father!

Easter is about atonement for sins, once and for all time, the giving of the promised New Life and the need for many to find faith in these dire times!  Exodus 10:17,

We as believers have a great responsibility to share with the dying Jesus, with our loved one, friends and even enemies that, For God so Loved the world, that He gave to us His one and only Son!  John 3:14-18.

Psalm 119:4,   Amos 5:4,   Luke 15:7,   John 3:3,   14:1-6,   Acts 3:19,   Romans 6:22-23.

God so Loved…! One.

EASTER is On?

Despite the terrible way the world is in at the moment, with the emphasis taken off Islamic battles and sectarian killings, humanity has poisoned itself once more in a pandemic disease situation!

But apart from the need to self-isolate and to keep the quarantine in place, we must thank God for technology and the Internet that is keeping us seeing each other over the thousands of miles?

Easter is on, because we can share, sing and praise God through various platforms such as Skype and You Tube! We can hear the word and share our lives with loved ones and make this Easter intimate and special and try to reflect of what was achieved for us by Jesus on the cross and His rising from the dead?

Nehemiah 1:11,  Psalm 55:1,   86:1,   Jeremiah 36:7,   Mark 11:24,  John 3:3,   7-9,   14-17,   Acts 4:12,   Romans 3:21-31,   James 5:16.

Suffering Servant! Part-Three.

Gaining the Victory?

When Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, as He said He would He gained the victory over death and for us entry into the New Life!

We have to be born-again to taste Eternity, religious observance, wearing a Christian name tag, doing good works bowing down or praying to saints will not get us to Heaven?

The confession of sins, repentance and faith in the death of Jesus on the cross and His rising from the dead lets us know that God has forgiven our past failures and we know are in Him.

Matthew 17:33,   Luke 18:33,   John 3:3,   31-36,   Acts 4:12,   1 Corinthians 15:57,   1 John 5:4.

Suffering Servant! Part-Two.

Bearing our Shame?

Jesus took our sins away by placing them on His own body, that was in the appearance of a ploughed field! It was one thing for a man to die for a cause, it was another for Him to go through so much pain and misery for us who deserve nothing in truth from God?

What are we going to do this Easter, let it pass by, be traditional, keep celebrating it for the children without failing to respond to the serious side and seek our Salvation?

Luke 12:47-48,   John 19:17,   Hebrew 9:22,   12:4,   13:13,   1 Peter 2:24.

Crossroads. Two.

Living in the power of the Resurrection?

There are some people who believe or claim a faith in Jesus, but they fail to fathom the rising of Jesus the man from the grave?

This a serious flaw in the Christian faith, like that of denying that a loving God would send people to Hell! But without faith in the resurrection of Jesus, we cannot enter into the promised New Life!

All who witnessed Jesus rising from the dead where changed people, their faith was made full and they were empowered to press on believing, applying Jesus teaching and serving God!

John 11:24-24,  Acts 1:22,  4:33,  Romans 1:4,  6:5,  1 Corinthians 15:12-13,  Colossians 1:13, 1 Peter 1:23.

Crossroads. One.

Easter the pivot of human History!

Jesus came to die for our sins on the Cross/stake/tree, this was His choice and ultimate calling for us to be saved! He was the sinless perfect man, the Messiah of Israel wither accepted or not and the saviour of the world!

Without the shedding of His blood in that one final atonement, there can be no remission of sins! Jesus did this for all who would by faith believe in Him, confessing and repenting of our sins.

There is no other way to be born-again, to be saved from the destiny of destruction that the world in its own achievement is heading for!

2 Corinthians 3:4-6,  5:18-20,  Luke 22:20,  Ephesians 2:13,  Hebrews 12:26,  1 Peter 3:18.

‘Happy New Year 2018.

Peace and Joy!

This is the traditional message of Christmas, that today seems lost in the rush of buying for everyone, but many of our cards even secular ones will still have a greeting similar to this?

Real peace and joy comes only when we know the Lord Jesus as our personal Saviour, other wise it is nothing more than feelings that are very much fleeting?

Christmas and Easter are about Jesus birth and death, he cam as the babe human the Saviour of the world and the King of Israel and He died for the sins of His people Israel and also for the Gentiles to make reconciliation between two races and between fallen humanity and God!

Genesis 28:21,  Psalm 16:4,  37:37,  Matthew 28:21,  John 14:27,  Romans 15:13,  Hebrews 12:2.
