Saint Valentine Part-One.

Love, Romance and Marriage.

Many people will be preparing for that special romantic day on the 14th February. They will getting that Valentine card, the red roses, the chocolates for their loved one. Perhaps the girl/boy friend, the wife/husband of many years, even the secret lover, mistress.

God ordained for man not to be alone and in the process marriage was the result of a legal union between the man and woman. Jesus emphasized Marriage. So the result of any relationship between a man and a woman must be entered in to by Marriage.  Genesis 2:18-24,  Matthew 19:4-6,  Mark 10:6-9.

Anything and everything after that is from the selfishness of the heart, wanting its wants.

Revisionism. Part-Three.

It is said ‘that it is the victors who write the history.’

The best things to do for any historian is to tell the whole truth. To report the mistakes and the failures of both sides and not pretend we are the good guys and they are the bad ones.

The bible is the only book ever written that tells us that all of humanity is sinful. Romans 3:23,  5:12, 6:23.  But God has provided His son Jesus for us to believe in his death and resurrection from the dead, to be set free.  Acts 10:38, Isaiah 45:22, 1 Timothy 1:15, 1 Peter 4:18.

Revisionism. Part-Two.

Let us move away from the holocaust and look at the history of other nations and peoples. There are many who would today say that European slavery in west-Africa only occurred because there was a local demand for it. In some ways by saying this, one could justify Europe’s past sins. This in another way takes away the horrific way people were treated, separated from loved ones and children, degenerated and humiliated for profit.

There are equality as many British historians who have played down the Irish potato famine and hide the facts that the London democratic parliament passed legislation to forbid the kindness of Christians to have mercy by feeding the poor. This is the dangers of changing history. God requires of us to be honest and truthful in all that we do and say.

Job 6:25, Psalm 15:2-3,  Luke 8:15, John 8:38.

Revisionism. Part-One.

There are many proponents today who deny that Nazi-Germany killed six million Jews. They say that the numbers do not add up, and that the Jews are using it as propaganda.

But what they do not tell you, is that they maintain Nazi sympathies and are admirers of the German Dictator Adolf Hitler. Nazi-Germany did not just kill Jews, it also killed anyone who opposed Hitler, anyone who was disabled and who was not heterosexual.

God can see our hearts and He knows all our thoughts. We may think in this life we can justify ourselves, but if we do not have a change of heart towards Him, we will be lost.

Romans 3:23, John 3:15-21, 1 John 5:12, Hebrews 4:12-13.
