Being lifted Up. One.

Encouraged to Persevere?

One can not say that to have faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus will make us friends of the world? We may be called to serve in the world, but we must never think that Gods ways will be tolerated by the lost!

Everyday Christians are under strains from the daily pressures of life and this can be the same wither we are married, single of celibate. At times it can become unbearable, that we give in and compromise, but thank God we can repent and ask for Jesus forgiveness and get back on track once more!

As believers we have a Spiritual armoury, not of weapons that world uses to kill each other, but to counter all those arguments, questions, jeering and rejection that the world throws at us in their attempt to undermine the power of God!

Religious Freedom. Part-Two.

Christians under Attack!

Apart from us being easy targets are the Jewish religion and the main proponent to attack both of us is Islam, but after that is Atheism, Hindus and Buddhism!

Why, what are they afraid of? Because Christianity has to truth and offer’s all who hear and accept freedom from both religious and government controls!

Jews are hated even by Christians, but without them we would not have our Salvation! Muslims want to eradicate Israel, because they know and fear the return of Jesus who will reign from Jerusalem?

Other religions or non fear also Jesus return, because it will mean an end to their so called belief’s and systems that are nothing more than a pack of lies!

Isaiah 7:14,  Matthew 1:23,  24:18,  Mark 13:16,  Luke 1:27,  Romans 11:8-11,  Revelation 17:14,  19:16.

Religious Freedom. Part-One.

Christianity and Other?

There is a world history of Christianity clashing with other religions, because of our freedoms and their enforced legalism and idolatry? Many lands in Africa clash with Islam, but also with the many primitive religions and beliefs too some of which are nothing more than folklore?

Believers can get killed for their faith, for their failure to respect a certain prophet or a certain custom! Others do not like to see freedom from ritualism, from personality worship and from community control?

Isaiah 58:16,   Matthew 6:14,   John 8:32-33,   36,   Acts 13:46,   14:3,   22:28.

Believers and Christians. Two.

Stephen to Now!

Everyday believers in the death and resurrection of Jesus are being murdered, because they refuse to deny our Lord or recant of their trust in the Almighty, Eternal Father God!

Islam and many religions claim to know God, but their God is far away and requires war, conflict and blood of innocent people? This week we have seen more terror in Germany, in Iraq and in Syria with Christians being killed from a market to a Church!

We have one attribute over this enemy that is attacking us, and that is forgiviness which they do not have!

Luke 23:34,  Acts 7:60,  2 Corinthians 4:9,  Hebrews 10:33,  11:37.

Belivers and Christians. One.

In the Middle-East and North-Africa.

One noticed this past week the murder of Christians in Egypt by unknown Islamic terrorists and the failure to report these events in many Catholic European countries?

It was sad to see that the historical disunity continues over demoniational politics, between the Roman Church and the earlier Christian communites was still in bitter effect of minor doctrines?

No one really knows the heart of another and this is the same with believers, many of us will be suprised in Heaven to see who made it and did not? This is supposed to be the season of, ‘Peace and Good will than let us put our faith into deeds of kindness and mercy and throuugh it entertain Jesus Himself?

Matthew 22:14,   25:36-44,  Luke 2:15-20,  James 2:18-22.

History of Conflicts. Two.

My Religion, My Ways, I, Me My-Self.

The Apostle Paul told us in his letters to the first Christians in the New Testament that he had met many false believers. They seemed to believe, but it was there actions and reactions that revealed their real intentions.

From excluding certain believers out of fellowship, to commiting adultry at the Communion/Lord’s table to being mentioned in the Book of Revelation as the Nicolations.

It is very hard to be a believer wither one is a Catholic or a Protestant, because denominational membership means nothing to God knowing our hearts. Faith may be measured in this world by filling in a card for either Confirmation or Baptism, but only God knows our Hearts.

1 Corinthians 3:4-7,  Colossians 2:18,  1 Timothy 1:20,  2 Peter 2;1,  Revelation 2:6,  15.

Ireland in Africa. Part-One.

The witness of St. Patrick.

Many men and woman have and continue to serve for jesus in Africa and they continue to have a great influence in Christian matters. Saint Patrick has more of an influence today in the African continent that he ever had in bother Ireland and the British isles.

Patrick kept his faith in Jesus simple, but he always pointed to the cross and the need of a new birth and relationship with Jesus. His emphasis was not on good works, or the keeping of religious observance but of faith in action.

We hear daily of the terrible atrocious crimes and murders comitted against Christians and poor people in the name of God. Many nuns have been raped and murdered and yet despite all this wickedness the gospel of Jesus continues to spread and grow.

Acts 4:1,  8:1,   Romans 8:35,  2 Corinthians 5:19,   Philippians 1:18,  2 Timothy 4:5,   Revelation 7:14.
