God so Loved…! One.

EASTER is On?

Despite the terrible way the world is in at the moment, with the emphasis taken off Islamic battles and sectarian killings, humanity has poisoned itself once more in a pandemic disease situation!

But apart from the need to self-isolate and to keep the quarantine in place, we must thank God for technology and the Internet that is keeping us seeing each other over the thousands of miles?

Easter is on, because we can share, sing and praise God through various platforms such as Skype and You Tube! We can hear the word and share our lives with loved ones and make this Easter intimate and special and try to reflect of what was achieved for us by Jesus on the cross and His rising from the dead?

Nehemiah 1:11,  Psalm 55:1,   86:1,   Jeremiah 36:7,   Mark 11:24,  John 3:3,   7-9,   14-17,   Acts 4:12,   Romans 3:21-31,   James 5:16.

The people have Spoken!

Sinn Fein for the Poor?

It is always the people that decide the ultimate fate of a government, nation, or ideal of a system and in this case Ireland may be flourishing for the rich but not for the student or the poor!

Rents are now astronomical, just us much as they are in the U.K. and off-shore investors are making a killing and paying little taxes to anyone? But this has to change and despite not having a majority people are seeing now through the corruption of the chums political club that has ruled Ireland since 1922!

God also see the suffering of people and He will use what ever instrument that is available to Him to do His will! Injustice is not in His psyche and allowing anarchy and criminality to flourish while making excuses is neither His but our own failures and our need of Him.

Psalm 91:1-6,   Amos 5:4,   John 3:16-17,   Acts 4:12,   Romans 3:21-31,  Hebrews 4:12-13,  1 John 1:8-10.

LOVE?

Agape and Eros!

The world thinks it has plenty of love today, everyone is loving each other and yet there is murder, stabbings and terrorism as never seen before, without real reasons rather than being indiscriminate?

The world loves the sinful side of love that clashes with the true love of God, because the world refuses to obey, but would rather go its own way?

We have something that is truly amazing and yet we fail much of the time to share it even in fellowship, let alone with the world around us!

Psalm 103:8,   John 3:16-17,  1 Corinthians 13:4,  1 John 1:9-10,   Jude 1:21.

Crimes out of Control?

The ages of Anarchy!

It would seem now that no matter where we live the world is going mad in crime and the forces that we pay for to protect are either being cut back or corrupt in not helping the poor?

We have opened this New Year with more madness, kinappings, egoistical leadership, war mongering, famine, vengance, knife and gun crimes on the increase!

One has to look at our televisions to see that we are seriously being influenced in soaps to live in bad ways and this is just acceptable? But if we are people of faith we must be apart from the ways of the world and this by the love of Jesus!

John 5:23-24,   Galatians 5:8,    Hebrews 4:12,   1 Peter 1:14,   2 Peter 1:4.

The Value of Christmas? Two.

A time of answers and Miracles!

The Christmas story is full of answers and miracles, it shows us a loving God who is giving us His one and only Son so that we might believe and be saved back into a personal relationship with Him!

But the world chases after its own answers believing that psychology, sparkling things and money will fill the voids of doubts, disappointment and pain? People turn to alcohol, to tech, to financial security and some to the religion of their choice believing that by austere living they can purge themselves?

Salvation is only found in Jesus and that of seeking His forgiveness and turning away from our pasts knowing that He will give to us a New Life!

Luke 1:46-56,    67-79,    2:25-32,    34-35,    36-38,    John 1:1-5,    3:3,    3:15-16,    Galatians 3:13,    4:4-5.

The Value of Christmas? One.

In todays Society!

The world has changed, but humanity has not in relation to attitude and failure and God does not change in His love and other roles!

Christmas is a time of celebration, festivals and family, but it is equally a time of loneliness, regret, rejection and bad thoughts?

God gave to the world His one and only Son Jesus, that by faith we would find a hope and a salvation through his suffering, death and resurrection for us on the cross!

It is up to us to make these essential choices that mark out our eternal destinies?

Numbers 24:17,   Isaiah 7:14,   9:7,   Matthew 2:2-11,   Luke 2:7-20,   John 3:3-7,  14-17.

BREXIT!

Selling out Peace in Ireland?

The English do not care about what happens in far away Ireland the land of the ‘Little people, who they can walk over when they take the whim?

The Peace process will now be lost to new groups who want to return to violence as with the killing of the journalist McKee! PM Boris Johnson has no time for none-whites or the Irish, the deaths of another 3000 people are worth his pipe dream?

Christian values, where have they gone in all this while the British media tell their own people lies a large bomb in the city of London will be too late to the fate of these islands once more?

Leviticus 26:6,   Deuteronomy 28:65,   Psalm 120:6-7,   Matthew 5:9,   Luke 1:79,   Romans 12:18,   1 Peter 3:11.
