Waiting on God?

‘Not to become Impatient!

Wither we are waiting in a que of anything or that of an answer to prayer, we must learn to be patient with our circumstances?

Those first Disciples of our Lord were told to wait in Jerusalem, for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit! But they did not know it would be only ten days, as we do 2000 years later!

But they did not sit about in this period but got on with the business of the early Ekklesia and then to their joy what was promised came and infilled them with gifting and empowerment to serve thousands across the Roman Empire and into many lands further a field!

Proverbs 8:34,   Mark 11:24,   Acts 1:4,  12-26,   Romans 12:12,   Ephesians 6:18,  1 Thessalonians 1:3,   James 5:7,   2 Peter 3:9,    Jude 1:21.

The value of Prayer!

Three weeks of the flu and complications?

Sometimes we tend to consider that prayer is just something to be said in Church, one must say that one is thankful to those who prayed for me!

In November one got the flu and every time I looked down I wanted to vomit, the dizziness was another problem with orientation and now it has ben revealed that this years jab does not work!

God does hear the saints when they pray, in fact God hears all prayers and that makes Him unique against the many other religions and what they claim to believe!

1 Kings 8:45,  2 Chronicles 6:40,  Psalm 4:1,  Matthew 21:22,  Acts 6:4,   Philippians 4:6, James 5:15.

9/11 Plus.

Will there be another Attack?

The answer to that question is sadly yes, because Al-Quaida warned that they would be back in twenty years for round two! The new tower is errected and New York prospers with many new buildings to come.

But these evil men, now known to us as Daeish or ISIL/IS are still in active busines across Europe murdering people. Today four more were captured in Germany ahead of another attack, it is not clear if Bali was a teerorist attack.

What can we do? Prayer is very effective, reporting ones suspicions is perhaps second and reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus and the Gospel message is the third.

Isaiah 1:4,  Psalm 110:3,  Colossians 1:5-6.

For God loved….His. One.

He gave us His one and only Son.

This is the crux of the Christian message of hope and Eternity by believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus. God seeks each of us to have a personal relationship with Him, through His son Jesus and not any other way!

There is no mention in the New Testament of praying to Mary to intercede for us, in fact the New Testament makes it very clear that now Jesus has been revealed to the world He is our Intercessor!

In the Old Testament the Prophets had this prominent roles and many Christians misunderstand the scriptures to their peril. We are commanded to pray for each other and there are times that burdens may be carried, but we must not think we can side-line Jesus.

John 3:15-18,  Romans 8:15-16,  1 Timothy 2:1-2,  James 5:14-20.

The Plague. Part-Two.

We have a Problem!

The death toll is now rising dramatically and the west is starting to wake up, but its is always money that will prevent a cure being found for Africa, but not for Britain or the United States.

This is dishonesty on a big scale and shows the lack of humanity rather than the claims of many. Where does the believer stand in all this? Financing relief, prayer and questioning the status quoa is perhaps some of the key elements.

Proverbs 11:6, Isaiah 66:24,  Hosea 13:14, Luke 12:15.

Mary. Part-Five.

Mary was tormented are perplexed at the cross, but she kept her hopes to see the resurrection of the God-man Jesus from the dead. John 19:25,  Acts 1:14.

Meanwhile today thousands of people place their faith in Mary, as an intercessor to Jesus and on to God the father. But the bible tells us very clearly that Jesus is the only intercessor to the father. Colossians 1:20,  Hebrews 7:25.

We need neither Mary or a priest, but just to bow the knee in a secret place and call on him ourselves. Acts 10:31.
