No God?

Says the fool in his heart.’

We have many nations in the world today that still forbid people to believe in any kind of religion or they allow a little, but still place restrictions on claims made in various Holy books.

China, North-Korea, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, Syria, Algeria, Angola are but a few, but even here in our western societies there are many people to claim to have no faith in a god. In fact it soon will be illegal in the European Union and the United States of America to question or have an opinion on anything in the bible that might upset diobediant groups.

Psalm 14:1,  Proverbs 1:7,  Isaiah 9:17,  Matthew 25:3.

Walking with the Holy Spirit. Part-Three.

An Empowered People.

If we are true believers in the death and resurrection of Jesus, we will have been touched by God. We who are living by faith and have the assurance of Salvation, will be empowered by the Holy Spirit of God to serve Him.

Being a Christian is not about laying back and waiting for our day on ‘Cloud nine.’ It is about becoming active in some way, as we prepare for Glory. Heaven is not a place of rest as we understand it now to be, but rather a place of Eternal praise to God, Our Father and His Son Jesus, who is our friend and Savior.

Acts 4:31,  Romans 9:1,  1 Corinthians 14:1,  1 Thessalonians 1:6,  Hebrews 10:15,  1 Peter 1:12,  Revelation 21:10.

Walking with the Holy Spirit. Part-Two.

‘A Crucified Christian.’

Are we done with the world and all the bright lights of its dung and muck, have we surrendered ourselves completly to Jesus. This does not mean wearing uncomfortable cloathing or beating ourselves, but rather we have promised to allow the Holy Spirit of the Trinity to work in us a New creation.

When we have done with Sin, it does not mean that we will not be tempted by the Devil! But rather our will, will be stronger to resist him. We will be inclined to let attacks and disputes from other ‘Christians go by, like water on a ducks back.

We may still be hurt and offended, cut up inside, but we will push on and not show it.

Galatians 5:24-26,  James 3:14-16,  1 Peter 2:11,  Revelation 11:11.

Walking with the Holy Spirit. Part-One.

Living and Walking.

When we were once part of the world, we lived as the world did. We did not know or recognise God, as we do now.

So now that we do know God, as our Father and Jesus as our friend and Saviour we do not need to continue on as we once did.

We tend to forget that we too can walk with the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity.

Romans 8:4-5,  Galations 5:15-16,  1 Peter 1:22,   Jude 1:19-21.
