Papal Visit! One.

What is Expected?

Many people in Ireland are hoping that during this Papal visit the first since 1979, the new Pope will apologise for all the hurt and pain of what Nuns, monks and priests have done over the years in the various sexual scandals to have rocked the country?

But if one knows the Roman Catholic Church, one should know that everything moves very slowly and it is unlikely this Pope like any other will not have much to say!

People in Ireland have moved on into what is described as a modern society, but the reality for the many who believe the nation is now on the verge of paganism and hostile to the Christian faith?

Salvation only comes through faith in Jesus as the Son of God who died once for our failures, priest, man, pope cannot save us! Only by confession, repentance and faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus will we have the full assurance of Eternal Life!

Job 30:25,  Proverbs 23:29,   Jeremiah 8:6,   Malachi 3:14,   Mark 3:5,   Luke 5:32,  Romans 2:4.

Deliver us from Evil. One.

Satan and His Works.

Living in the world and practising our faith will quickly bring us into contact with the opposition forces of darkness?

But we are a redeemed people, bought back and covered by the blood of Jesus!

Because we know these things pertaining to our salvation and New Life, we must press on and not allow anything to try and knock us back.

Matthew 6:13,  Galatians 1:4,  1 John 3:8.

Happy New Year?

Hope.

We all want to start off this New Year with hope for many things, family, education, work, friends, parents? There is nothing wrong with having hope like that, even in business and in religious affaires?

But it is even better to have hope in God-Jesus to know where we are with Him in relation to Eternity and our Salvation! To be free from legalistic religion and ritualism based on traditions, which have nothing to do with the Bible?

1 Thessalonian 1:9-10,  Job 35:10-12,  Romans 8:24-25.

Finding comfort in the Bible. Two.

Salvation.

Our need to be in fellowship with God, because most of the world is running around like headless chickens at this time? People are rushing here and there and everywhere and most of the time they are stuck in their mobile devices talking to people they do not know about nothing of any value?

Many people everyday are turning to God of the Holy Bible, out of despair, fear, and mental exhaustion? They want answers to what is this life all about?, Why am I here? and a list in a similar vain continues.

Becoming a Christian is a different experience for each one of us! Some where going along wondering about God, but not really interested and we were chosen! Others sought and found Him in Church, listening to TV or Radio? But all of us had to submit to His will by facing up to our failures and confessing to Jesus?

Amos 5:4,    5:14,    Proverbs 8:17,    Matthew 6:33.

HELL. Part-Two.

The Broadway.

Many are on this route, living and walking in total ignorance of being cut off from the Eternal presence of God. We meet them daily in our homes, on the streets, travelling to work, they have no want of religion of knowing God.

Christians have a serious responsibility to tell this lost world, wither they like it or not that without a knowledge and recognition of God they will be cut off to this place of outer darkness.

Jesus warned the people of His day as he does today through believers that they face a fate worse than Sodom and Gommorah for their unbelife!

Matthew 5:22,  10:15,  Mark 9:43-47,  Luke 12;5,  17:29,  Romans 9:29,  James 3:6,  2 Peter 2:4,  6,  17.

Easter. Part-One.

Death.

The many traditions that have grown up around this time of the year are associated with New Life, flowers, bunnies and eggs. Life is indeed the outcome, but it was of death first and these symbols have nothing much to do with the reality of these middle-eastern events.

Jesus had to die on the tree of cursing, so that His death as the Passover Lamb all who believed in Him would come to a knowledge of Salvation and enter into relationship with God once more through the final atonement.

2 Corinthians 6:2,  Isaiah 49:8,   Matthew 26:26-28,   Acts 2:23,   1 Corinthians 5:8,   Hebrews 3:15.
