Crossroads. Two.

Living in the power of the Resurrection?

There are some people who believe or claim a faith in Jesus, but they fail to fathom the rising of Jesus the man from the grave?

This a serious flaw in the Christian faith, like that of denying that a loving God would send people to Hell! But without faith in the resurrection of Jesus, we cannot enter into the promised New Life!

All who witnessed Jesus rising from the dead where changed people, their faith was made full and they were empowered to press on believing, applying Jesus teaching and serving God!

John 11:24-24,  Acts 1:22,  4:33,  Romans 1:4,  6:5,  1 Corinthians 15:12-13,  Colossians 1:13, 1 Peter 1:23.

Reconciliation. Part-One.

God and Humanity.

Jesus is that first step in reconciliation between us and God and this is what was being marked a few weeks ago at Easter. It is faith and the admitting of our failure that brings us by Jesus blood into this new relationship.

The bible explains it in simplicity, it has not become a doctrine or a religious ritual as some arms of the Christisn Church ensnares many into believing.

God does not want to see any human being of His creation lost, but we all have the choices to choose the way to go?

2 Corinthians 5:18,  Colossians 1:20.

NO GOD?

Foolishness.

Many people today trust in things, sex, material goods, property, land, pets, but they claim no faith or beliefe in God?

There are many who claim to know God, they do good deeds and works, they are pious and religious and they try to be good living.

There is a God, who we remember every Christmas and Easter, that sent His one and only son to bring us back by His sacrifice for our failure into relationship with the Father.

Proverbs 1:7,  22,  Amos 5:4,  Matthew 3:2,  Mark 9:31,  Luke 13:32,  Acts 4;12,  2 Corinthians 6:2.

Easter. Two.

Resurrection.

Jesus achieved for us the victory over the sting of death, by His rising from the dead on the third day. Today many people believe in science, in what they think they are able to see?

Science is limited by the ideal of theory, but faith and Spirituality deal with the emotional side of the human nature. Science cannot solve pain, disappointment, anger, fear, love, joy and peace, these are conditions that can only be sorted out by God.

God asks each one of us to examine our condition to turn from the negative failures and to seek Him, by having faith in His Son Jesus.

Amos 5:4,  John 3:33-36, 2 Corinthians 6:2, Hebrews 7:7, 10:5-14, Revelation 22:14-15.

Easter. Part-One.

Death.

The many traditions that have grown up around this time of the year are associated with New Life, flowers, bunnies and eggs. Life is indeed the outcome, but it was of death first and these symbols have nothing much to do with the reality of these middle-eastern events.

Jesus had to die on the tree of cursing, so that His death as the Passover Lamb all who believed in Him would come to a knowledge of Salvation and enter into relationship with God once more through the final atonement.

2 Corinthians 6:2,  Isaiah 49:8,   Matthew 26:26-28,   Acts 2:23,   1 Corinthians 5:8,   Hebrews 3:15.

EASTER. Part-Three.

Jesus Family.

The family of Jesus were around Him at the cross and the resurrection, along with followers, new believers and the witnesses of the resurrection.

Mary His earthly mother and many female followers were near and far at the stake/tree, while on that Easter Sunday moring they were all rushing to find the empy tomb.

Matthew 27:55-56, 61, 28:3-6,  Mark 15:40, 47, 16:1-9,   Luke 24:1-10,  John 19:25, 20:1-11, 16, 18.

EASTER. Part-One.

Jesus said….

He will go up to Jerusalem and be delivered to evil men, but on the third day He would arise. These passages confirm that the Lord told His Disciples He was going to the Cross and that He would rise from the dead.

Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, 27:64. Luke 9:22, 13:32, 18:33, 24:7, 21.

The agony of the garden has more to do with the human nature of Jesus as He surrendered to the will of His Father. We must maintain that Jesus was the Perfect-God man and that He was a perfect Jewish man.

Matthew 26:36-50,  Mark 14:32042,  Luke 22:39-49,  John 18:1-2.
