Families! One.

Natural and Spiritual?

There are two kinds of families, natural ones that we all come from or belong to and Spiritual ones that we have entered through repentance, confession and being Born-Again by the Holy-Spirit!

In the natural order we belong to parents, or we have been adopted and other cases orphans with many issues to carry through our lives? Families are full of rows and also strife, mixed in with the good times too?

But the Spiritual family is different, in that we belong to Ekklesia, the family of God that is universal! It should have no borders and we should all be helping each other? But the reality is far from this truth, believers are divided by false teachings and a lack of reading the Bible?

Ireland in Africa. Part-Two.

UN Troops.

The saddest deployment for ireland in Africa, was that of the Congo rebellion and the loss of soldiers. Wars are plenty on this very divided continent, over millenia this has been the case. Tribal, political and religious ideology, if not just gangs of criminals have plagued the peoples of many nations.

Many British colonial regiments had Irish detachments, particulary in the Boer wars in South-Africa 1899 and 1904. Irish Republican also fought with both the Boers and later the ANC, right up to the release of Nelso Mandela.

Many Christians have lost their lives in missionary work, which today is paying off with a rise and revivals after revivals across many of these distrubed lands.

God who chose Ethiopia, Cush, Libya, Sheba and Nubia is now at work all over and many lives are being changed for the better. One day black believers will be coming to Europe, Asia, Chian and the Americas to share the Gospel!

Crises. Part-Two.

Seeking Peace.

There remains to this day many people around the world, near and far who are not content with peace. They want to stir up old wounds for their own prestige, they dress it up as being righteous, seeking justice or we want.

Some times they will get a bit of what they want or want to achieve, so that people will praise them up. Strife is always a costly affair, because violence breeds more with hatred and factionism.

This is not Gods way, He wants peace and people to give up things for it to be achieved. Some ‘Christians are great players on theology and politics to suit their own selfish agendas. But it is only God who knows what truth is in our hearts.
