Arrogance?

Those in Power!

Governments practice arrogance most of the time they like to make big promises or abuse peoples trust, and use disasters to prop up their re-election campaign or media publicity?

They believe that they can pull it off and they do for a time, but then all that hype and famous stuff about them starts to slip away as people seek that they are the real, ‘Fake News of their own making!

God does not like pride and arrogance, but especially those who profess a faith in Him! These folks will be taken down, if they refuse to humble themselves and to be seen doing it before the world, nation and God?

Psalm 131:1,   Proverbs 13:16,   Isaiah 2:17,   Matthew 23:12,   Luke 14:11,   1 Peter 5:5.

A Selfish Society! Two.

Regretting?

Time will tell for the many nations who today call themselves advanced? One has to wonder what this advancement might mean, as to kill others to join in the unions and alliances of mass genocide in the names of science and advancement?

God will soon make His Judgement on the world, when Jesus returns to take His Ekklesia to meet Him in the sky! But between now and that great day, there is still time for us to repent and seek God, confessing our failure and seeing Jesus, who died for us forgive our failings!

1 Thessalonians 4:17,   1 Corinthians 15:52,   Mark 14:62,   Acts 26:18,   Philippians 1:19,  2 Timothy 4:4.

Resurrection Power.

Rising with Jesus.

it is said that not many ‘Christians today believe that Jesus actually rose from the dead, but if He did not then we cannot claim a faith-trust in Him and thus we have no promise of eternal salvation?

Jesus did rise and was seen by over 500 people, apart from His Disciples over the forty-day period until His Ascension back to Heaven! Baptism allows us the example of Jesus rising from the grave, but child baptism has no power because we are not at that time conscience of our sins?

It is only later on when we develop that we start to see our failures and if we repent and turn to God, believers baptism will be of great value to both us and all who witness our conversion-born again transformation!

John 11:25,  Acts 1:22,  4:37,   Romans 6:5, 1 Corinthians 15:12-13,  1 Peter 1:3.

Holocaust Memorial. Two.

Denial?

There are so many people in the world who deny history and God, they want so much to have everything fit their way and they also try at times desperately to hide their failing from near and far?

This is the true side of human nature, it has ben with humanity since the fall of Eve and Adam! But when we face the truth, we are on the road to being healed of the deception we are in and on the way to finding a New Life with Jesus as the Lord of our lives?

Joshua 24:27,   Matthew 10:33,   John 3:14-17,   Titus 1:16.

Jesus, witness the Truth. Two.

Hearing and accepting the Truth.

We may like to go to Church, to be religious, to keep the traditions and believe that going through the ritualism and occasional ‘Good Deeds is enough to be on the right side of God?

But the revelation of who Jesus was and His role of being born into human flesh were born by Pilate a few hours before the Jesus victory at the cross and His resurrection from the dead!

One has to hear the message of repentance, accept ones failure and turn to God! From this point not going back into the same sins again and again to make a mockery of the blood of Jesus who did once for the atonement of our sins?

John 18:37,   Mark 1:14,  Isaiah 9:6,   53:4-7,  Hebrews chapter 7 and 10,   1 John 1:9

For God so loved…His. Two.

A New start for Us?

God gave us His one and only Son Jesus to take our places in the redemption of sins. God has chosen us for Eternal life, not because we deserve it from anything that we have done, but rather from His mercy on our failures.

Many people make quick choices in relation to becoming Christians, others think that by being good and living a right way in their own eyes they will get into Heaven? But this not the case, as with the man in wrong clothes at the wedding supper found out.

We all have to bow in admission of our failure to Jesus, asking His forgiveness and mercy on us and promising to have a mental change of attitudes not continuing or returning to what we were.

1 Peter 3:18.

Easter Story. Part-Three.

The Cross.

There were a lot of events occurring while Jesus was nailed on the cross that day. People stood watching, while others jeered at Him. Two criminals who deserved their punishment were also there. Jesus had to die for our sins, this was a once for all shedding of blood. This was the final and ultimate atonement for sins, it was for all who believed in his death and resurrection. Isaiah 53:12, Mark 15:27, Matthew 27:38, John 19:18, Luke 23:32-43.
