Waiting on God?

‘Not to become Impatient!

Wither we are waiting in a que of anything or that of an answer to prayer, we must learn to be patient with our circumstances?

Those first Disciples of our Lord were told to wait in Jerusalem, for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit! But they did not know it would be only ten days, as we do 2000 years later!

But they did not sit about in this period but got on with the business of the early Ekklesia and then to their joy what was promised came and infilled them with gifting and empowerment to serve thousands across the Roman Empire and into many lands further a field!

Proverbs 8:34,   Mark 11:24,   Acts 1:4,  12-26,   Romans 12:12,   Ephesians 6:18,  1 Thessalonians 1:3,   James 5:7,   2 Peter 3:9,    Jude 1:21.

Power and Service.

God has allowed us to join with Him in displaying His power and serving Him. This is not given to unbelievers, only those called through faith, forgiveness, repentance and His kindness or Mercy.

Theios from the Strong’s Greek G2304 Gives us the sense that God is Devine, Divinity.

We are allowed to share in His work of preaching, teaching and speaking the Gospel Good News of Jesus everyday. God in choosing us wants us to a people of valour maturity and living in the victory of the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus!

Endurance. Part-Two

Spiritual Armour and Power.

We are already armed for Heavenly National Service, some of us may of escaped the easy bit of doing our duty at home, now to face Satan and His host in full array.

We know that the Devil attacks the mind, our minds with doubts, jealousy, fear, arguments, discussions that lead no where and debate.

Logic and rationalism along with humanism are the death knell to the believer, and the people of the world are full of it.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6,  Ephesians 6:10-17.

Paraclete.

The Holy Ghost/Spirit.

Only for belivers and not the world, Jesus promised his disciples would recieve power from on high to help them to preach the gospel message. From the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit has been poured out on all believers.

We need Him to help us when we are weak and afraid to serve, to share, to give testimony. He intercedes for us in these times of troubles, when we do not know what to say.
