LOVE. 1.

Love is Kind!

The New Testament of the Holy bible tells us that Love is kind, it is not selfish and it always seeks the best! This is the attribute that Jesus asks of us who believe and follow Him?

The worlds idea of love is from a selfish motive, even when it appears to be good? Its all about I will give, but I want something in return for my efforts?

God’s love to the world, through Jesus is not demanding, but rather unconditional!

Deuteronomy 11:22,  John 3:14-18,  31-36,   1 Corinthians 13:4,  Galatians 5:22.

Paying the Price.

Stephen.

Stephen is the first Christian martyr of the New Tesatament and is an example to all of us, that sometimes we may end up in a sticky situation. The men who murdered Stephen hated him, because they could not prove him wrong and at the same time they were refusing to believe the truth.

Today the world is full of wicked, evil and selfish people, who just want to take what is not theirs, want to lie and steal, refuse to work, make excuses. We need to be careful in what we say and not to over do it.

Psalm 44:22,  Acts 6:11-15,  7:54-60,  22:20,  Revelation 12:11.

Crises. Part-Two.

Seeking Peace.

There remains to this day many people around the world, near and far who are not content with peace. They want to stir up old wounds for their own prestige, they dress it up as being righteous, seeking justice or we want.

Some times they will get a bit of what they want or want to achieve, so that people will praise them up. Strife is always a costly affair, because violence breeds more with hatred and factionism.

This is not Gods way, He wants peace and people to give up things for it to be achieved. Some ‘Christians are great players on theology and politics to suit their own selfish agendas. But it is only God who knows what truth is in our hearts.

1 Corinthians 14:33,  Hebrews 4:12,  James 3:16.

Love. Part-One.

Universal.

There are many kinds of love in the world, but here we want to deal with the Love that God wants for us and for us to have for each other. God sets the rules about love, He sets the rules about marriage and divorce.

Many people today love each other man to man and woman to woman and they have committed their love for each other in Church ceremonies. The world and some mislead ‘Christians recognize this. But God does not, because it is abhorrent for Him to see this form of sexual act committed. If we confess to be believers in the bible and the death and resurrection of Jesus, then we are born-again of the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

We know that we have to live the way that God wants us to, not what we want. Some claim that God is allowing certain things in this realm, if so then the thief and swindler can remain as they are and still have faith in Jesus. This is not so, this is lies and deception, perpetrated by evil.

Leviticus 18:22,  19:5,  20:13,  Judges 19:22,  Matthew 11:23-24,  Romans 1:26-27,  Jude 1:7.

Saint Valentine Part-One.

Love, Romance and Marriage.

Many people will be preparing for that special romantic day on the 14th February. They will getting that Valentine card, the red roses, the chocolates for their loved one. Perhaps the girl/boy friend, the wife/husband of many years, even the secret lover, mistress.

God ordained for man not to be alone and in the process marriage was the result of a legal union between the man and woman. Jesus emphasized Marriage. So the result of any relationship between a man and a woman must be entered in to by Marriage.  Genesis 2:18-24,  Matthew 19:4-6,  Mark 10:6-9.

Anything and everything after that is from the selfishness of the heart, wanting its wants.
