Mission. Part-One.

Past and Present.

We tend to think that this is not for our place, but going off to another land to share the ‘Christian Faith?’ After the events mentioned in Acts chapter two the Good News message of Jesus spread out then to the known Greek, Persian and Roman world, which in itself was quite big.

Many of those early believers paid with their lives within the Roman Empire for at least 300-years, being fed to the lions! But this message of Jesus death for the forgiveness of sins and His resurrection from the dead did not die away but continued to grow!

Africa and Britain saw the first believers arriving from 34AD to the influx by 126AD, but it is not known when the first buildings were erected for meetings came about?

Matthew 28:19-20,  Mark 16:15-16,  Luke 24:47-48,  Acts 1:8,  Romans 10:18,  Colossians 1:23.

Rumours of Wars. TWO

Strife, Terror.

Evil people are good at using idele hands to do their bidding!

The Middle-East is full of disabled children, and woman being used as huma shields and then thos who try to practice democrasy be accused of war crimes.

Here in Europe we have to deal daily with mentally ill men stabbing and shooting people going about their own business. Police and intelligance either cannot find a link, because of ease of Internet access to videos and hate sermons.

We on the other hand have to keep trusting Jesus through all of this, without worrying!

‘Sick of Easter Eggs.’

The sales are now on.

Surplus eggs are now being reduced to get rid of them and many people are making themselves sick by eating to much. This is a common problem with both Christmas and Easter.

The emphasis of the bible and importance of Jesus Virgin birth, death and Resurrection from the dead is or seems to be getting lost in the commercial world of food and drink.

Why are Christians not pushing the bible aggenda, has compromise with the world blinded them or have the become lazy and inaffective?

A month of Saints. Part-Two.

Father of Celtic Christianity.

What more can be said, that has not already been covered about Patrick! Apart from his own account of his life there are many legends and these are perhaps those extended accounts of some real events.

Patrick was quite a man, one as a believer who was determined to return to Ireland and presch the ‘Good News message was Jesus on the stake and risen from the dead. This message has not changed today, it is still the same as it was the those first who witnessed these events.

Being a Christian believer is not about saying words like a mantra of hail mary’s or going to confession, taking mass. It is about a personal relationship every day with Jesus and obeying His ways. It is about doing good deeds wither we are thanked or not.

Mark 13:12-13,  Luke 9:1-5,  1 Peter 3, 7.
