Called Too? Two.

Persevere!

This is an old fashioned word that appears not to be much in circulation today, yet it is a very active word for all believers to refuse the ways and the things of the world?

The world is telling us today that we deserve our freedoms to everything we want, and many believers are falling for this lie? Instead of persevering and refusing they are accepting and opening themselves up to evil!

God expects us to be obedient to Him and to the cost of Jesus shedding His blood on the cross/stake/tree for us!. Even before the cross Jesus’ back was like a ploughed field, this atonement is very precious indeed but many today either refuse to see or throw it away for temporary pleasures?

The Abused. Part-Two.

Violence.

Many children suffer at the hands of parents and their partners, we are not here talking about dicipline. There is a lot of difference between a smack for bing naughty and punching your child in the face.

Today there are so many people trying to end child dicipline that it troubles me why they were not as concerned about sexual molestation that is widespread across the globe?

Much violence to children is done for pleasure and if not then to make them do something against their will.

Saint Valentine. Part-Three.

‘Lust is not Love.’

Sex in marriage is not lust, it is a natural loving aspect of God’s character, because that is how we produce the next generation. But it is also for our pleasure within the vows of marriage.

God does not like lust and adultery, because one leads to the other. The sad conclusion of the end result is divorce and all the pain that can go with it, especially if there are children.

It is said ‘ that many Valentine gifts on the 14th February will be given to the mistress and the boy friend, but not to the good wife and caring husband?’
