Wickedness!

This is a work of wickedness, when a young deluded man blew himself up killing twenty-two woman and children in a concert hall! The pain and suffering has come again to this city of Manchester, and many people will not easily seek any forgiveness of his actions?

We also must stand back as believers and reflect on the history of the police in this city, who have in the past fabricated evidence on the Irish community in relation to the IRA, the Hillsborough disaster and now be warned that some Muslims may be set up to get political results?

Today over twenty-four Christians have been murdered  near Cairo in Egypt, and so is revealed that these cowards on kill people in soft targets? Forgiveness is a command of the Lord, since He forgave us who too do not deserve anything from Him!

Halloween. One.

A night for the Devil?

Based on north-European paganism, Halloween/All Hallows has become a time in the Christian calendar to remember that we believers have a daily adversary  who is out to get us at every cost, to take from us our assurance of trust in Jesus.

Satan, the Devil and His demonic host are as real, we see their handy work in the world everyday, terrorism, corruption, starvation, child abuse, intimidation, violence, gangs, criminal activity, murder, drugs and alcohol abuse?

But with Jesus we have the authority to rebuke the enemies attacks on us and he will flee, if we refuse to give into temptations!

Finding comfort in the Bible. Part-Three.

Knowing God.

The world claims that it wants to find peace, this is the solution to all of humanities problems? But the more it claims peace, the more it does war? We often hear people in the Middle-East and Africa say, ”That they are a peace loving people, and tomorrow they chop off the heads of their prisoners in the name of God?

When we come to know God, through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, we have been set free from legalism and idolatry into a New Life relationship! And now that we are in this New place, we understand by the Power of the Holy Ghost/Spirit within us that we have a peace and a hope that the world can never have because of their open rebellion and rejection of God!

Rumours of Wars. ONE.

‘Don’t Worry.

Yesterday a deluded young man chose to drive his truck into a crowd and kill over 85 people in the Bastille Night celebrations in Nice, Southern-France. Many things are being reported in the media, but he was leadon by educated people to fulfil their political agendas.

Many today are being deluded across the world to murder and mame in the name of this and that religion. But we who hold on to and profess our Christian faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, must not worry about all these rumours.

Our calling is to live in the world, with the knowledge of promised Eternal Life and fulfill the Commands of God to share our faith with others near and far.

Ireland in Africa. Part-One.

The witness of St. Patrick.

Many men and woman have and continue to serve for jesus in Africa and they continue to have a great influence in Christian matters. Saint Patrick has more of an influence today in the African continent that he ever had in bother Ireland and the British isles.

Patrick kept his faith in Jesus simple, but he always pointed to the cross and the need of a new birth and relationship with Jesus. His emphasis was not on good works, or the keeping of religious observance but of faith in action.

We hear daily of the terrible atrocious crimes and murders comitted against Christians and poor people in the name of God. Many nuns have been raped and murdered and yet despite all this wickedness the gospel of Jesus continues to spread and grow.

Acts 4:1,  8:1,   Romans 8:35,  2 Corinthians 5:19,   Philippians 1:18,  2 Timothy 4:5,   Revelation 7:14.

Jesus First. Part-Three.

Enquiring with wrong motives.

There are many people today who will seek after Jesus, believing God will accept them their way. They attend meetings, take the free launch, even seek a shelter and make many nice comments.

But the reallity in their own hearts and minds is full of selfishness and they want God to fit in their pocket, rather than fitting in His. They have deluded themselves with a fantasy Jesus, one perhaps seen in the movies or from some childhood understanding they thought.

We see that when the Magi arrived from following the star, they went to the logical place to find the King of Israel the palace in jerusalem. There they met King Herod who enquired he too wanted to meet this speacial child.

But his intentions were to lash out and murder evey chld from baby yo two year-old to save his power base.

Fanaticism and Terror-ism. Part-One.

Nigeria, Somalia and Tunisia.

This past two weeks has seen a massive loss of civilian life and UN Peacekeepers murdered in the name of ‘Zeal for God.’ The people behind these terrible attacks on soft targets, believe their religion and vision is correct and everyone else must submit or die.

Adolf Hitler made up his own religion too and wanted everyone to accept it, without question. There are many cults today who push the same agenda and, if you want to leave then you could be killed.

Acts 21:20,  Galatians 1:14.
