Understanding God. Part-One.

More than a Creed.

Religious conversion demands a creed or confirmation to be made and this opens the door to limited understanding of who God is? It is only when we have suffered and been brought to the point of provocation by our enemies.

God does not want us to fall into sin, but He knows we will at some point. he inturn would want us to seek Him and repent quickly.

Psalm 73:12-18, 107:8-31, Proverbs 25:3,  Romans 11:33.

Revenge. Part-Two.

Give your anger to God.

The one great lesson that I have learned as a believer in Jesus and it was given to me by older Christians, as a young man ‘That was best to leave it with God.’

‘Don’t worry about them, God knows everything and he is the best to deal with it, not you spoiling your walk and witness of New Life in Jesus.’

It is hard for us to see the outcome of things and in our natural order we so much want to take action, But Jesus will help us and our Father will deal with all who hurt or attack us.

Psalm 94:1,  Romans 12:19.

EASTER. Part-Two.

‘As Judas took the Bread, Satan entered into him.’

Jesus knew that Judas from Iscariot was the man who would betray Him and yet despite this knowledge, He knew that this was the plan of His Father God to go to the cross.

Jesus still knows our thoughts, many people who claim to be Christians think they can get away with things, they can live as the world lives. But they are very mistaken in thinking that God does not know.

John 13:21-29, Genesis 6:5, Psalm 10:4, Matthew 12:25, Mark 7:21, Hebrews 4:12.

Solstice.

Nature Worship.

When ever we come to look at pagan pasts, we find that whatever order of priests there where they all worked out a astronimical clock in their stone circle monuments.

So if you are off the New Grange or Stone Henge or any other monument, please be re-assured that time and cycles remain very much in God the Creators control.

Psalm 115:5-8,   Romans 1:18-23,   Revelation 9:20-21.

Crises. Part-Two.

Seeking Peace.

There remains to this day many people around the world, near and far who are not content with peace. They want to stir up old wounds for their own prestige, they dress it up as being righteous, seeking justice or we want.

Some times they will get a bit of what they want or want to achieve, so that people will praise them up. Strife is always a costly affair, because violence breeds more with hatred and factionism.

This is not Gods way, He wants peace and people to give up things for it to be achieved. Some ‘Christians are great players on theology and politics to suit their own selfish agendas. But it is only God who knows what truth is in our hearts.

1 Corinthians 14:33,  Hebrews 4:12,  James 3:16.

Revisionism. Part-One.

There are many proponents today who deny that Nazi-Germany killed six million Jews. They say that the numbers do not add up, and that the Jews are using it as propaganda.

But what they do not tell you, is that they maintain Nazi sympathies and are admirers of the German Dictator Adolf Hitler. Nazi-Germany did not just kill Jews, it also killed anyone who opposed Hitler, anyone who was disabled and who was not heterosexual.

God can see our hearts and He knows all our thoughts. We may think in this life we can justify ourselves, but if we do not have a change of heart towards Him, we will be lost.

Romans 3:23, John 3:15-21, 1 John 5:12, Hebrews 4:12-13.
