God with Us! Part-Two.

Prophecy fulfilled and the work of the Holy Spirit!

The birth of Jesus is the focus of what Christmas is really all about, how God became man in human flesh and how by the work of the Holy Spirit Mari remained a virgin to her husband Joseph!

It is a miracle like the many that we find in the Bible, but people today reject everything that is not rational to their understanding? They cannot believe God, making all sorts of excuses about Him in relation to suffering, starvation, natural disaster not being prevented?

But in this story of the events around Jesus we see the prophetic being fulfilled, the same is also in the work of our repentance and salvation! Being turned from being cold and callous to God to being open and understanding that we have a loving father in God almighty!

Isaiah 9:6-7,   Matthew 1:22-23,   Luke 1:1-45,   Hebrews 2:14-15,   Revelation 22:16.

The Harvest. Part-Two.

Human Souls.

Do you not know, that we are a commissioned people by Jesus to go out and harvest the souls God has chosen to be brought to Salvation?

It is our joy to share in the work of Jesus in gathering the sheaves over that of sitting in Church or other doing nothing, perhaps finding excuses within our callings to ignore the lost?

John 4:35,  Matthew 9:37-38,  Luke 10:2-3.

Easter. Two.

Resurrection.

Jesus achieved for us the victory over the sting of death, by His rising from the dead on the third day. Today many people believe in science, in what they think they are able to see?

Science is limited by the ideal of theory, but faith and Spirituality deal with the emotional side of the human nature. Science cannot solve pain, disappointment, anger, fear, love, joy and peace, these are conditions that can only be sorted out by God.

God asks each one of us to examine our condition to turn from the negative failures and to seek Him, by having faith in His Son Jesus.

Amos 5:4,  John 3:33-36, 2 Corinthians 6:2, Hebrews 7:7, 10:5-14, Revelation 22:14-15.

Jesus First. Part-Two.

My Shepherd.

We are the sheep, he is our Lord and shepherd! That is why the shepherds were visited by angels. There ancestor King David of Israel, came from humble orgins to as he was a shepherd.

Jesus in human flesh was a descendant from David in that human linage. Jesus always spke about sheep and the relationship between the shepherd and the flock and all who sought entery by another route wer imposters.

Luke 2:8-20,  Mark 6:34,  1 Samuel 17:20,  28,  34-35,  Pslam 23:1,  John 10:1-16.

Wickedness. Part-One,

Keeping Safe.

The world around us is full of wickedness, everyone tells lies like truth, even our own hearts want to sin it crouches waiting for the moment to enter our hearts and minds.

But we must resist it, refuse the temptations and say no to revenge and retaliation. Instead we must seek what is right and fare and always try to do our best to be good and avoid conflict.

Psalm 51:10,  73:12-18, Matthew 5:8,  Titus 3:5,  James 4:8.

Revenge. Part-One.

Human Nature.

When we are angered, when we see people, family, friends the natural kicks in and we want to take revenge. The world is full of terror and murder, revenge in Mexico, Italy by gangsters. The Middle-East and Africa by terrorists and what is termed militants.

Being a believer in Jesus we are warned this is not for us, God will avenge for us and he will do a better job at it. If we do slip we will open ourselves up to problems, problems that will not leave us alone.

Proverbs 17:13,  Psalm 35:12,  Proverbs 13:21,  Hebrews 10:30.

EASTER. Part-One.

Jesus said….

He will go up to Jerusalem and be delivered to evil men, but on the third day He would arise. These passages confirm that the Lord told His Disciples He was going to the Cross and that He would rise from the dead.

Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, 27:64. Luke 9:22, 13:32, 18:33, 24:7, 21.

The agony of the garden has more to do with the human nature of Jesus as He surrendered to the will of His Father. We must maintain that Jesus was the Perfect-God man and that He was a perfect Jewish man.

Matthew 26:36-50,  Mark 14:32042,  Luke 22:39-49,  John 18:1-2.
