Believers and Christians. Two.

Stephen to Now!

Everyday believers in the death and resurrection of Jesus are being murdered, because they refuse to deny our Lord or recant of their trust in the Almighty, Eternal Father God!

Islam and many religions claim to know God, but their God is far away and requires war, conflict and blood of innocent people? This week we have seen more terror in Germany, in Iraq and in Syria with Christians being killed from a market to a Church!

We have one attribute over this enemy that is attacking us, and that is forgiviness which they do not have!

Luke 23:34,  Acts 7:60,  2 Corinthians 4:9,  Hebrews 10:33,  11:37.

Will there be another Attack?

The answer to that question is sadly yes, because Al-Quaida warned that they would be back in twenty years for round two! The new tower is errected and New York prospers with many new buildings to come.

But these evil men, now known to us as Daeish or ISIL/IS are still in active busines across Europe murdering people. Today four more were captured in Germany ahead of another attack, it is not clear if Bali was a teerorist attack.

What can we do? Prayer is very effective, reporting ones suspicions is perhaps second and reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus and the Gospel message is the third.

‘War and Rememberance.

The 11th of November is a very emotive day in Ireland, becuse of the long British occupation and als the various conflicts following Independance. From the establishment of Northern-Ireland in 1922, this state used ‘remebrance and many other dates for political gain and suppression of Roman Catholics,

Prior to the divison of Ireland many Irish people served the British Crown and they died in conflicts around the world, but it was not until the second world war that changes occured into the status of a common enemy ‘Nazi Germany.

There are times when we need to put aside our differences to fight evil in the form of anti-Christian forces. Today this is once more a previlant factor in Europe. The Bible is a book full of wars and strifes between Gods people Israel and pagan nations, who practiced moral filth.  Joshua – 2 Chronicles,   Ephesians 6:10-18.

Remembrance Sunday. Part-Two.

Remembrance Sunday not just for Britain.

Many thousands of Commonwealth and allied troops and resistors died fighting in a coalition against Nazi-Germany and Imperial Japan. Jesus tells us that war is an inevitable fact of human history and his followers should not worry. Mark 13:7.

Humanity is stained by Sin and the heart is selfish, nations do go to war, so do people who row and argue end up in fights, which sometimes leads to murder. Romans 3:23, 6:23.

Jesus warns us in Mark 13 that the Judgment Day of the Father will come at the end and we need to know where we will be standing on that day?
John 3:16-21, Acts 4:12.

Remembrance Sunday. Part-One.

For a long time, and maybe still today this has been a sore point in Ireland.

Despite the dreadful losses of World-War I (1914-18) and the trickery involved by the British to buy cannon fodder, many young men died for Ireland. During the second world-war (1939-45) many Irish people went of their own choice to fight against the Dictatorships of Nazi-Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan.

If the Axis powers had prevailed Ireland would have been re- assimilated back into Britain, very much as the German lead EU is trying to do today.

Humanity has always had wars, they start for all sorts of reasons. Some minor, some serious. God had a war with Satan even before the world was created, even in the garden of Eden the enmity was set between Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:15. the first mention of wars between peoples is in Exodus 14:13-14.
