Preparation’s for Christmas?

Black Friday to Christmas Eve!

The mad rush now for the Christmas season has began with American style hype over their sales? But this is more than the season of merriment, it is also the time for scammers to be at work online for those unsuspecting bargain hunters?

In this mad rush and as the days near what is now termed the holidays, it seems each year the world looses sight of what this season is really about? Cards, trees, Santa, snowmen, are all slowly replacing, the baby Jesus born of the virgin, the wise men, shepherds and the truth of God giving to us the free gift of His one and only Son Jesus!

Isaiah 9:6-7,    Matthew 1:23,    Luke  1:27,    2 Corinthians 11:2.

‘Nailed for Us. Part-Three.

He died for you and Me.

‘Christians can make a lot of fuss over doctrines about Jesus dying on the Cross and the Communion table, but the bible is very clear and so is the Greek. So their are no excuses to say somthing different.

Today is ‘Good Friday, when Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, failures. This day of shedding His blood is a one off event for the redemption/purshase of our souls back from Satan to God.

The blood was not spilt for legalists or traditionalists, but for all who would have faith in believing Jesus death and resurrection. This not the end of the story, but the beginning, because Jesus ascended with the promise to return for us at the end of the age.

Job 33:24,  Psalm 109:3,  Romans 8:34,  Hebrews 10:10-14.

Easter. Part-Three.

Good Friday.

Jesus was arrested by the mob in the garden, then he was passed back and forth until Pilate was ensnared to kill him. Pilate did everything that was in his means to get Jesus released, because he knew he was an innocent man being set up by envious and jealous religious hypocrites.  Matthew 26:57-27:14,  Mark 15:1-15,  Luke 22:63-23:12,  John 18:19-19:16.

Jesus was flogged and mocked and then forced to carry his stake to the place of Crucifixion  outside of Jerusalem. Looking back as believers in the death and resurrection of Jesus, by faith we know why this all had to happen in the way that was the plan of the Father.  Matthew 27:15-56,  Mark 15:16-41,  Luke 23:13-49,  John 19:17-37.

What will you do this Easter season? Will join in the mockers club, will you continue in your religion, without really believing or will you come to change your attitudes and not look back?  Amos 5:4,  John 6:29,  Romans 10:9.
