Crossroads. One.

Easter the pivot of human History!

Jesus came to die for our sins on the Cross/stake/tree, this was His choice and ultimate calling for us to be saved! He was the sinless perfect man, the Messiah of Israel wither accepted or not and the saviour of the world!

Without the shedding of His blood in that one final atonement, there can be no remission of sins! Jesus did this for all who would by faith believe in Him, confessing and repenting of our sins.

There is no other way to be born-again, to be saved from the destiny of destruction that the world in its own achievement is heading for!

Easter. Part-One.

Death.

The many traditions that have grown up around this time of the year are associated with New Life, flowers, bunnies and eggs. Life is indeed the outcome, but it was of death first and these symbols have nothing much to do with the reality of these middle-eastern events.

Jesus had to die on the tree of cursing, so that His death as the Passover Lamb all who believed in Him would come to a knowledge of Salvation and enter into relationship with God once more through the final atonement.

2 Corinthians 6:2,  Isaiah 49:8,   Matthew 26:26-28,   Acts 2:23,   1 Corinthians 5:8,   Hebrews 3:15.

Jesus First. Part-Four.

Two miracles of the Virgin Birth.

The mind of the world is depraved and one usually when bringing up this subject, will hear all the filth that humanity makes in accusations and talk that it never was.

Yet we as believers must believe in all the miracles and wonders of God, not just the bits that might fit our doctrines or what denomination or branch of Christianity that we belong to. The Ekklesia of Jesus is universal, we are but bricks or blocks being built or formed into a Spiritual building.

Jesus was concieved into His earthly morther Mary by the Holy Spirit. One perhaps could say it was a kind of Spiritual IVF? The second miracle was that Mary did not break he waters, as pregnant woman do in birthing. This proves that Mary was a virgin and that is all it proves. She is not devine or sinless, she is not our intrcession to God.

The Scriptures are very clear in relation to Jesus is the centre, the pivot and the focus of our faith in Him. His death was the final atonement required by the Law for human sin.

Luke 1:26-38, 2:5-7,  Hebrews chapter 10.

He has Arisen. Part-Two.

Witnesses.

The amazing fact about the resurrection of Jesus was that well over five-hundred people saw Him. From His own Disciples and followers to Romans soldiers and strangers going about their daily lives.

The Romans recorded these reports methodically, wither they believed them or not. Jesus would spend forty days on earth, before he ascended back into Heaven with the promise of His final return.

Matthew 28:16,  Mark 16:12-16, Luke 24:13-49, John 2019-29, Acts 1:3-8, 1 Corinthians 15:5-7.

Old Testament References to fulfilled Prophecy, Psalm 16:1-11, Psalm 22, Isaiah 52:13-53:12.

Pentecost, (50-Days). Part-Two.

The Holy Ghost/Spirit (Parakletos) is only given to believers in Jesus. In times past God gave the Holy Ghost to His Prophets and people he used to fulfill his plans (Exodus 31:3, Isaiah 42:1, 57:15) and will and then he could remove the Spirit. Psalm 51:11.

But we are warned that there still remains conditions to having the Holy Ghost and that we cannot take lightly the cost of the blood shed at the final atonement of the cross. We also must not insult the Holy Ghost by continuing to live as we did before we committed our lives to Him. 1 Corinthians 3:16, Hebrews 10:26-29, James 2:26.
