The Value of Christmas? One.

In todays Society!

The world has changed, but humanity has not in relation to attitude and failure and God does not change in His love and other roles!

Christmas is a time of celebration, festivals and family, but it is equally a time of loneliness, regret, rejection and bad thoughts?

God gave to the world His one and only Son Jesus, that by faith we would find a hope and a salvation through his suffering, death and resurrection for us on the cross!

It is up to us to make these essential choices that mark out our eternal destinies?

Numbers 24:17,   Isaiah 7:14,   9:7,   Matthew 2:2-11,   Luke 2:7-20,   John 3:3-7,  14-17.

Suffering Servant! Part-Three.

Gaining the Victory?

When Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, as He said He would He gained the victory over death and for us entry into the New Life!

We have to be born-again to taste Eternity, religious observance, wearing a Christian name tag, doing good works bowing down or praying to saints will not get us to Heaven?

The confession of sins, repentance and faith in the death of Jesus on the cross and His rising from the dead lets us know that God has forgiven our past failures and we know are in Him.

Matthew 17:33,   Luke 18:33,   John 3:3,   31-36,   Acts 4:12,   1 Corinthians 15:57,   1 John 5:4.

Suffering Servant! Part-One.

Believed the Message?

Have we believed the message of Jesus preached or are living in the tradition of traditionalism, not matter what religion that we would call our own?

Jesus was given by God, so that all who heard the ‘Good News of His works, death on the tree/stake/cross would understand that their sin had been atoned for and that by His rising from the grave they are promised Eternity with Him!

But many have chosen to reject this good news or they have twisted the words of the Bible to suit their own agenda of what they want to believe God is like and will do for them?

Isaiah 53:1-12,   Amos 5:4,   John 3:3,   14-21,   Acts 4:12,    Revelation 3:19-20.

LOVE?

Saint Valentine!

Its that time of the year again when couples express their love to each other with cards, roses and the special romantic meal, but this may be a kind of love that the world has made a tradition but it is not real love?

Real love is to care and cherish, without expecting any return or even a thank you!

The bible tells us that God loved us first, not that we loved Him! His love was enough to send to us His one and only son, to die on the cross/stake/tree and rise from the dead saving all who would believe from their sins!

The application of love will cost us, rejection, opposition, but if we keep focused on Jesus we will continue to have the right attitude and will not be troubled by disappointment, but rejoice in the good fruit that it will produce?

Genesis 29:20,  Exodus 20:6, Psalm 5:11,  31:23,  70:4,  97:10,  Proverbs 10:12,  Matthew 5:43-46,  John 3:3, 15-21,  Ephesians 5:2,  1 John 4:10-11.

Reconciliation. One.

Forgive and Forget.

Bitterness is a terrible condition to be in, when one is claiming to have a faith in God? Like racism and sectarianism, they block the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives! Jesus was rejected first by His own people, but He has not given up on humans with all our flaws?

Jesus went to the cross/stake/tree for our sins, making that final atonement and rising from the dead so that we may have a New Life and overcome the sting of natural death!

Calvinism in some respects justifies sins, while in others it gives a belief that once saved will get us into heaven? But the bible is more complex and we need to understand it from the context that it was written in?

Luke 23:34,   Romans 5:10,   Matthew 5:23-26,   Colossians 1:20-22,   Hebrews 2:17.

LOVE. 2.

Hate what is Evil and….

Love the truth, so that we can return to God an appreciate what Jesus has done for us!

Salvation came at a cost, blood was spilt to bring us into a New Life and Relationship with Him and our Father? Why then do we not believe the world of God, and why do we continue to live like the world?

Lifestyle is an excuse to refuse to change to the way that he wants us to be, less of self and more of Jesus? It is an honour to suffer for doing the right things, not a burden! Jesus went to the cross for us of His own choice!

Loving God is much more than the traditional Saint Valentines, when it is applied in Love and truth!

Exodus 20:20-23,   Job 31:11-12,   Isaiah 1:17,   Romans 1:27,   2 Thessalonians 2:10, James 1:27.

Jesus, witness the Truth. Two.

Hearing and accepting the Truth.

We may like to go to Church, to be religious, to keep the traditions and believe that going through the ritualism and occasional ‘Good Deeds is enough to be on the right side of God?

But the revelation of who Jesus was and His role of being born into human flesh were born by Pilate a few hours before the Jesus victory at the cross and His resurrection from the dead!

One has to hear the message of repentance, accept ones failure and turn to God! From this point not going back into the same sins again and again to make a mockery of the blood of Jesus who did once for the atonement of our sins?

John 18:37,   Mark 1:14,  Isaiah 9:6,   53:4-7,  Hebrews chapter 7 and 10,   1 John 1:9

Reconciliation. Part-One.

God and Humanity.

Jesus is that first step in reconciliation between us and God and this is what was being marked a few weeks ago at Easter. It is faith and the admitting of our failure that brings us by Jesus blood into this new relationship.

The bible explains it in simplicity, it has not become a doctrine or a religious ritual as some arms of the Christisn Church ensnares many into believing.

God does not want to see any human being of His creation lost, but we all have the choices to choose the way to go?

2 Corinthians 5:18,  Colossians 1:20.

Easter. Part-One.

Death.

The many traditions that have grown up around this time of the year are associated with New Life, flowers, bunnies and eggs. Life is indeed the outcome, but it was of death first and these symbols have nothing much to do with the reality of these middle-eastern events.

Jesus had to die on the tree of cursing, so that His death as the Passover Lamb all who believed in Him would come to a knowledge of Salvation and enter into relationship with God once more through the final atonement.

2 Corinthians 6:2,  Isaiah 49:8,   Matthew 26:26-28,   Acts 2:23,   1 Corinthians 5:8,   Hebrews 3:15.

EASTER. Part-One.

Jesus said….

He will go up to Jerusalem and be delivered to evil men, but on the third day He would arise. These passages confirm that the Lord told His Disciples He was going to the Cross and that He would rise from the dead.

Matthew 16:21, 17:23, 20:19, 27:64. Luke 9:22, 13:32, 18:33, 24:7, 21.

The agony of the garden has more to do with the human nature of Jesus as He surrendered to the will of His Father. We must maintain that Jesus was the Perfect-God man and that He was a perfect Jewish man.

Matthew 26:36-50,  Mark 14:32042,  Luke 22:39-49,  John 18:1-2.
