Suffering Servant! Part-Three.

Gaining the Victory?

When Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, as He said He would He gained the victory over death and for us entry into the New Life!

We have to be born-again to taste Eternity, religious observance, wearing a Christian name tag, doing good works bowing down or praying to saints will not get us to Heaven?

The confession of sins, repentance and faith in the death of Jesus on the cross and His rising from the dead lets us know that God has forgiven our past failures and we know are in Him.

PATRICK.

Feast day 17th March.

Happy Saint Patricks Day?

Patrick was no weakling, he was planning his escape probably from the day he was taken in what was the remains of Roman Britain? But it took some courage to return to a pagan land in the hope of converting the Irish to Christianity?

Many had tried before with little success, but Patrick was a man of vision and he was also a born-again Christian like many today both within the both the Protestant and Catholic Church?

Drink and debauchery will mark many of the celebrations today of what has become a traditional holiday, but there are as many Patrick’s around the world serving in great isolated and dangerous places as once Ireland was!

Romans 12:11,  1 Corinthians 15:8-10,  1 Timothy 1:15-16,  Titus 3;3,  1 Peter 1:12.

Conduct. One.

Not what we once Were!

When we have come to know Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, there has to be a change in our mental attitudes? We are no longer the person we were, but now are more centred on God and following our Lord!

The Apostle Paul speaks to the early Churches about the need to keep their conduct pure or clean in Christ, we must not look back and act the way we were? Sadly today there are many who encompass themselves in Church activity and in the process loose sight of Jesus and what is expected of us by Jesus?

Colossians 3:1-25,  Romans 12:1-2,  Hebrews 10:26-29,  32-38.

Finding comfort in the Bible. Part-Three.

Knowing God.

The world claims that it wants to find peace, this is the solution to all of humanities problems? But the more it claims peace, the more it does war? We often hear people in the Middle-East and Africa say, ”That they are a peace loving people, and tomorrow they chop off the heads of their prisoners in the name of God?

When we come to know God, through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, we have been set free from legalism and idolatry into a New Life relationship! And now that we are in this New place, we understand by the Power of the Holy Ghost/Spirit within us that we have a peace and a hope that the world can never have because of their open rebellion and rejection of God!

John 14:27,  Isaiah 9:6,  Romans 15:13,  1 Corinthians 13:13,  Philippians 4:7.

Real Equality. Three.

Knowing God’s Mercy.

Jesus was trying to show the people in His days on Earth, what real love, forgiveness and Mercy from God was really like.

Are you born-again?

Then why are you actin like the world, that you claim God through Jesus has set you free from?

Why then can you not forgive others, as you have been forgiven?

Matthew 18:18-30,  1 Kings 21:29,  Philemon 1:18.

HELL. Part-One.

The fear to Preach?

The one good thing about the Rev Ian Kyle Paisley was he had no fear to share his faith in Jesus with any and everyone. One might not agree with his politics, but he showed his faith by going into a power sharing government with the political wing of a terrorist group the IRA.

Many other Protestant leaders such as the Unionist party where perhaps more worried about sharing their secret societies and the worship of Bel and Dagon.

Today Christians of all persuasions are being forced to accept apostate teachings that have nothing to do with the bible. Believers must be brave and let go of their materialism world-wide to be prepared to warn these rebellious people of their destiny in the fires of Hell.

Psalm 55:15,  Isaiah 5:14,  Jonah 2:2,  Matthew 5:22-30,  Mark 9:43-47,  Luke 12:5.
