Christmas Preperations.

It’s that time of the year Again.

The lights, the tree, the cards and the rush to go mad from black friday to Christmas eve buying gifts for self, family and friends? Many of us run around like headless chickens this time of the year, excited for the holidays, without any consideration for the birth of the person we are celebrating?

Many people today don’t want anything to do with religion or Christianity and yet they will be the first to demand tradition? This has to be this way and that, because thats what they once had?

God apointed a time in human history for His son Jesus to enter to bring salvation and atonement to both His people Israel and redemption to the world! He has done this because He loves and he wants to see all people brought into fellowship with Him.

There is loves of many kinds, but His is unconditional, this does not mean that we can continue on in our sins? Because loving us does not mean He loves our failures!

Matthew 9:13,  Luke 2:14,  John 3:16.

Xmass. Part-Four.

Wanting to Praise.

Jesus birth was not a limited event, it was not by special membership or you had to get your ticket. Jesus was born in a stable full of animals and He was laid in a animal feeder.

The first to see Him where those nosey gossiping shepherds, then He was taken to the Temple on the eight day to be circumcised, because He was Jewish. One year later the wisemen or Magi from Persia arrived to see this special child, a little one year-old boy.

What did they all have in common, they were glad to see His coming and they worshipped and praised Him.

Matthew 1-2, Luke 1-2.

Xmass. Part-Two.

The Middle-East and Israel.

The 25th of December annually marks the birth date of the Jewish Messiah, while the Bible continues to portray historical events from a vey eastern flavour. The Christian Churches have taken over the las 1700 years a very anrti-semitic line and this continues today in relation to the establishment of the modern state of Israel.

For all of us who read our bibles daily an have a faith in the works of Yeshua Adonai, must relise and understand that Israel is restored under the will of God. From Crib to Stake/tree, from the resurrection to ascension to promised return.

Matthew/Levi 1, Luke 2.

Xmass. Part-One.

For Many..

The traditional Christmass is becoming very much now one without the baby in the crib as it is replaced by snowmen, fairy’s, angels, Santa and modern childrens characters. One could call this commercialism, when it is sadly really a road o securalism.

The west is determined to start a war with Russia over the Ukraine and yet it is modern Russia that is more Christian than the west and they remain determined to uphold their faith.

Psalm 12:3-4,  Acts 7:38.  1 Thessalonians 4:8,  Jude 1:8.

‘Christmas is coming. Part-Three.

A time to share.

Many people over this season will give up and comit suicide, others will block it out because of rejection and loneliness. Some don’t believe in it anyway. But what is our response to it?  Psalm 10:2,  59:12,  Luke 10:34-35.

God allowed His son Jesus to be born in a stable, becuase despite being a King he was to serve us in His humility. Poverty for a start, is to show us do we really care about others and can we be generous and forgive failings. Mark 7:22,  Luke 2:8-20.

It is pride that closes our hearts at this time of the year, but we should know that this is never Gods way.  Mark 11:25-26,  1 John 1:9.

Christmas. Part-Four.

Jesus the Jewish Messiah and the Saviour of the world is now born. Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 2:6-7.

He was not a helpless babe, his mother the Virgin” went on to have other children with her husband Joseph. Jesus was circumcised eight days after His birth in that stable. Luke 2:21-24. He had to fulfill the conditions of Jewish Law, since he was their promised Messiah.

Many people say ‘why do the Jews, not believe? Some do believe, but meanwhile some Catholic’s rely on infant baptism, conformation and the traditions of the Church, and they continue on in pagan revelry. We need all to come to a personal relationship with Jesus and turn away form Sin. Acts 4:12, John 3:15-21. Romans 3:23, 6:23, 1 John 1:5-10.

Christmas. Part-Three.

The Angels appeared to the shepherds, why?  Because Jesus the Messiah, was the son of David, King of Israel. David was a shepherd boy. Jesus later in His ministry said ‘I Am the good shepherd.’  Luke 2:8-20,  Psalm 78:70-71, John 10:14.
