Halloween. One.

A night for the Devil?

Based on north-European paganism, Halloween/All Hallows has become a time in the Christian calendar to remember that we believers have a daily adversary  who is out to get us at every cost, to take from us our assurance of trust in Jesus.

Satan, the Devil and His demonic host are as real, we see their handy work in the world everyday, terrorism, corruption, starvation, child abuse, intimidation, violence, gangs, criminal activity, murder, drugs and alcohol abuse?

But with Jesus we have the authority to rebuke the enemies attacks on us and he will flee, if we refuse to give into temptations!

Genesis 3:1-5,   Job 1:7-8,   Matthew 4:1-11,   2 Corinthians 11:14,   James 4:7.

Real Equality. Part-One.

The Poor.

Jesus said to His Disciples and this is a s much to us as well, ‘You will always have the Poor.

That is the fact of the rich nations of the world, not all beggers and those who are living rough ended up because of addiction or abuse?

Some were dumped or had no choice, we see the attitude of the self-righteous in relation to the man robbed and laying by the road before the Good Samaritan rescued him.

God wants us to give to the poor, to be mindful of those less fortunate than we may be!

Acts 11:29-30,  Galatians 2:10,   James 2:13-16.

Ireland in Africa. Part-Three.

Africa in Ireland.

The black Church in the island of Ireland has been stunted, because of its desire to see a movement of Gods power. Catholocism is traditional, Protestantnism predominantly is racist in its evangelicalism.

If Patrick was with us today? He would be disgusted by the religious seperation and decline in morality and respect for Jesus claimed by many who have twisted everything to suite their own agendas.

Infact Ireland is no longer a Christian country, yet there are many believers who are struggling with the unbelivable responses from the state, the E.U. and Unionism who refuse to forgive and begrudge from historical prespective.

John 3:31-36,  1 Corinthians 15:8-10,  1 Timothy 1:15-16.

The Abused. Part-Three.

Mental Torture.

This is the unseen side of abuse and there are perhaps more people suffering from it than physical. Parents who want their children to achieve can and do pressure and over recent years that has been an increase in teenage suicide in Wales, United Kingdom.

It is in latter life that the effects such as depression and mental illness raise their ugly heads to restrict in movement and going out. The law has changed over the last few years in Europe to address these issues.

Matthew 8:28-34,  Mark 5:1-20,  Luke 8:26-39.

The Abused. Part-One.

Child Molestation.

This is the correct term for abuse of children and not all of this abuse was carried out by paedophiles, some out of just feelings as a one off. This is not to say it is not wrong, but so much is being labled as one thing when it is much more.

The bible is very clear on the way we are to treat children and the consequences of abusing or interfering with them. The passage used is one that really upsets those who have another aggenda.

Matthew 18:-5-6, Luke 6:28.

Opus Dei. Part-Four.

The OD makes its money from the promotion of the Mel Gibson The Passion of the Christ, which it promoted. Meanwhile it now has a rich following that provide its needed finances. But not everyone who has joined has felt happy with the harsh discipline that the movement requires at higher levels and they have left. OD is unique in one sense that it has no vows, affiliated monasteries, Churches or orders, that its members remain within secular life and evangelise’s.

Those who have left the Opus Dei say ‘ that they feel that they have been spiritually abused from both mental and physical exhaustion and when they made mistakes.

1 Timothy 4:1-4,  2 John 1:7-11,  2 Peter 1:5-8,  Revelation 2:2,  1 John 3:7.
